Several companies make phones, but the three largest are Google, Samsung, and, of course, Apple. Samsung Galaxy S9
Samsung might have suffered a PR catastrophe after their S7 range was withdrawn from the market after many of them were blowing up, but they have come back fighting since then. Although consumers were skeptical after the problem, Samsung has reclaimed its place back at the top table of the smartphone marketplace. Their latest phone, the Galaxy S9, packs a punch and has a huge processing power. Is quicker than the Google Pixel 2 and has a bigger screen than the Google device. Its main camera is 12 megapixels which is just as good as the iPhone X, and the front-facing camera is 8 megapixels which is better than the Apple phone. It retails for $720 and comes with an iris scanner and wireless charging.
Google Pixel 2
The standard Pixel 2 comes with the smallest screen of the three phones, measuring in at 5 inches. The XL version of the phone has a 6-inch display which is larger than the iPhone X and 0.2 inches smaller than the Galaxy S9 Plus. Pixel 2 has the highest resolution camera, with a 12.2-megapixel rear-facing camera, and an 8-megapixel camera in the front. The standard version of the phone is the lightest of all the others while the Pixel 2 XL has the longest battery life. The phone comes equipped with Google Lens, which allows you to point your camera at objects in the real world and your phone can interact with them. This will give you relevant internet search results and information about whatever you are pointing your phone at.
Apple iPhone X
So we come to the Apple iPhone X. When it was released it was well known that the phone would set eager Apple fans back $1000, save a penny. It comes with all the features you would expect from an iPhone but with the added face scanner to allow you to unlock your phone just by pointing it at your face. The iPhone X has differentiated itself from its predecessors by increasing the usable surface area on the screen. It is capable of charging wirelessly, and it comes with Apple’s fastest ever processor while being waterproof. Of course, it runs the customary iOS operating system, which many people believe is better than all of the other competitors. While the technical features are similar to the other two the iPhone X’s standout feature is the operating system.
There is not much to choose from between these phones. The Samsung will offer you a solid and reliable smartphone that can cope with multiple jobs at once while taking amazing pictures. The Google will run for days thanks to its amazing battery life and can turn the world around you into a hive of information thanks to Google Lens. Of course, the iPhone X will be what you expect from an Apple product, beautiful and simple to use with high-quality technology throughout.
