Times people got back drivers who parked unlawfully in the most perfect way

Times people got back drivers who parked unlawfully in the most perfect way

Let’s be honest; parking should be an Olympic sport. It takes years of practicing to make it perfect, and there are some people that are just better than others. Yes, there are those who should be awarded a gold medal for their parking exploits. The following is not about those kinds of people. Quite the opposite. It’s about the people who couldn’t park straight if their lives depended on it.

Fire, fire, everywhere

Every driver should know that parking in front of a fire hydrant is illegal, but many people seem to contract temporary amnesia when searching for somewhere to dump their car.

Fire, fire, everywhere

Instead of abiding by the rules of the road, they instead settle their wheels in front of the curb, blocking the hydrant in the process. While these hydrants are rarely used on a regular basis, you never know when they will be needed to put out a fire so it’s best to avoid them… What happens if you don’t do this, you ask? Well, this.

Get ready for the monster truck

If you’ve ever walked back to your car and seen a note on your windscreen, there’s a 90% chance that it’s not a potential suitor confessing their passionate love for you. Instead, they are either from people who have crashed into your vehicle or from those who aren’t too happy with the way that you’ve parked.

Get ready for the monster truck

That’s exactly what happened with this car, and it just so happened that the person who was inconvenienced was the proud owner of a monster truck. Of course, anyone who has a monster truck is more than happy to use it to crush other vehicles into tiny pieces of scrap. We kinda hope this person did block him in again. That would have been one awesome show for the neighbors.

No parking, please

It’s fair to say that we’re all guilty of parking where we shouldn’t sometimes. When you’re in a rush, you can often slot into the first space you see, without checking whether you’re allowed to park there, whether it’s free, or even whether it’s legal.

No parking, please

However, sometimes it’s pretty obvious where you can and can’t park, and you don’t have to look too hard to see this for yourself. Despite the trash cans that read “No Parking,” this shiny Range Rover still decided to do their thing and chance it in this non-parking space. In the end, one annoyed staff member decided to use these trash cans to their advantage. Try getting out now, punk.

Clearly, they are better than you

If you have a fancy and expensive car, congratulations to you. You’ve obviously done pretty well for yourself over the years, and have been able to treat yourself to an awesome whip that makes everyone jealous. However, this fancy ride doesn’t make you a better person than anyone else, and it doesn’t make you more entitled than anyone else.

Clearly, they are better than you

So, please don’t park over two parking spaces. We get that you don’t want to scratch your car, but it’s just not cool. This annoyed individual decided that they wouldn’t get angry about this car but instead decided to get sarcastic. You might also know sarcasm as the language of passive aggression…

Where’s your crown?

When you pass your driver’s test, you are taught the rules of the road and the markings that reside on the concrete. That’s because there are certain signs, lines, and shapes that require you to be vigilant and to understand what they mean.

Where’s your crown?

In this case, these lines mean that you can’t park there. No, there should never be any car on top of these lines, so why does this person think that they can?! Well, they obviously must be royalty or something, because only those at the top of the social ladder can ignore these rules of the road. To honor the Royal occasion, one irritated individual decided to give them their own personalized parking spot.

All wrapped up

It’s really not that difficult to park within the lines of a parking space, but some people do seem to find it impossible. They make their way into other spaces, they ruin the parking ventures of other drivers, and they just look a little silly.

All wrapped up

Considering this car is quite small, there was absolutely no reason for the driver to park in two spaces. To get them back for this, we can only assume the people in the red car decided to raid their kitchen for plastic wrap and go to town on the exterior.

Getting the chop

While we can’t see where this person went wrong in terms of their parking, it’s fair to say that someone was annoyed with them. They didn’t want this driver to get away with what they had done, and so decided to teach them a lesson.

Getting the chop

Yes, they did this by venturing to the store and buying a completely normal and everyday purchase: five axes. They then used all of their strength to bury these axes into the windows, the bonnet, and even the roof. That had to hurt.

Making a hot mess

Although it can be easy to park your car on the wonk, or even park right on the lines, there are some people who just defy all logic. How did the person who drives this red Mercedes get it so wrong?

Making a hot mess

They are parked over four different parking spaces, they didn’t even try to park it in the lines, and it’s all just one hot mess. However, it got even worse for this person when other angry drivers got involved. They also brought a few cones, streamers, toilet paper, and crime scene tape along for the ride too.

Your friendly neighborhood Spiderman

When one car decided to park over two separate spaces, this person knew that they had to say something. However, they weren’t going to be angry. They were instead going to show their disappointment – which we all know is much worse.

Your friendly neighborhood Spiderman

They started this eloquent and impressive letter with fancy words, and they even wrote their argument with conviction and strength. As if that wasn’t cool enough, the letter was from Spiderman! The friendly neighborhood Spiderman, not the weird goth Spiderman from the third movie…

Follow the yellow brick line

We’ve all heard about following the yellow brick road, but what about the yellow brick line? Well, the person who owns this car obviously wanted to make their way to the Land of Oz, but they tried to do so in a more modern way.

Follow the yellow brick line

They didn’t want to get stuck in a tornado but instead opted to park across two different parking spaces. The rest of the car park obviously wasn’t too happy, so one angry resident decided to give them what they always wanted; their very own yellow brick line.

Not-so-smart car

Smart cars have always been praised for their tiny size. Although you can’t fit a family of four in the back of one of these, you can fit into the tiniest of parking spaces – and this can often come in handy.

Not-so-smart car

However, it seems as though some Smart Car owners have got a little too big for their boots, as they often try to park in spaces that just aren’t spaces. Either that or these guys decided to put this annoying driver into parking jail for parking where they shouldn’t…

Posting it on the internet

In today’s day and age, we live in a world where everything is put on the internet. You’re even reading this on the internet right now! When one resident saw this awful car parking job on their street, they couldn’t just let it slide.

Posting it on the internet

Sure, it wasn’t doing any harm, but they wanted to tell the person that their parking skills were a little shoddy. So, they wrote a note and stuck it on their windshield, and then decided to warn them about the fact that they would put the photo on the internet. After all, it’s always best to have permission.

Follow the instructions

There’s nothing worse than seeing someone park over your driveway. How are you supposed to get out? Are you going to be stuck all day? Why are human beings so annoying? When one homeowner found themselves stuck and with no way of getting out, they decided to be a little more considerate.

Follow the instructions

They weren’t going to berate the driver but was instead going to give them a little life lesson. They obviously didn’t know what a driveway was or how it worked, so they decided to teach them the ways.

Poet and you didn’t’ know it

It’s always satisfying when you write a passive-aggressive note and give it to the person that has annoyed you, and we have a feeling that whoever wrote this poem was extremely proud of their efforts.

Poet and you didn’t’ know it

More than anything, this person wanted the awful parker to realize that their actions had a trickle effect. Not only did it make them look like a tool, but it also made other people mad and wasted their time. Did they really want that? We think not.

Modern art

Sometimes, a note just won’t cut it. When this person parked over the pavement and stopped pedestrians from walking safely away from the road, the locals weren’t too happy about it.

Modern art

They tried everything to get the person to stop parking there, and they hoped that their efforts would be successful. Unfortunately, nothing seemed to work, and they had to go to special measures to make their point known. In fact, they created a piece of modern art in the process. People would pay a huge amount for this kind of artwork.

Problem solved

When it comes to regular-sized cars that have been parked badly, there’s not much that people can do about it. They can take revenge in all sorts of matters, as we’re seeing here, but the vehicle will continue in its place until the owner comes and gets it.

Problem solved

Small cars are a whole other story. Drivers of small cars can bee annoying too – big time. But people can actually do something about it, like in this case, where they tipped over a tiny car that was parked in two spots, so now it sits – or lies – in only one.

The medium is the message

A lot of people get mad when they see someone parking like they don’t care about anybody else in the world but themselves. And rightfully so, there are fewer things in the modern world that are more annoying.

The medium is the message

But not a lot of people would smear “IDIOT” in all capital letters on the hood of that person’s car, in what we hope and pray to God is chocolate syrup and not something else. They may be terrible at parking, but come on… Even we have our limits.

Award winning parking

We have to give this person an A for both effort and creativity. They went to the trouble of buying confetti and balloons, not to mention that certificate, and then filled the bad driver’s car with them.

Award winning parking

Could you just imagine the look they must have gotten at Kinko’s when they were printing that flyer up? And could you imagine the look on the driver’s face when they came back to the car? Seeing the balloons and confetti, their eyes probably lit up. And then they saw the note…

That woman was a saint

It’s all fun and games, until someone brings Hellen Keller into it. This famous author and activist was the first deaf-blind person to earn a bachelor of arts degree.

That woman was a saint

She wrote her own autobiography and today there’s a “Helen Keller Day” in Pennsylvania every year on the date of her birth. She was an amazing woman. Please leave her out of your parking shaming…but honestly? We laughed.

So helpful

Once again, a driver fails to park within the clearly marked lines, and takes up two parking spaces. Then, a Good Samaritan just happened to pass by and thought, “Oh, they missed. Let me help!”

So helpful

Helpfully, he drew new lines just for that special driver and marked them with a cheery “Parking spot just for you.” You know, because that driver is just too gosh darn special and important to park within the lines like everybody else. Satisfied with his public service, he went on his way. Thanks, Good Samaritan!

Going the extra mile

Okay, if the guy who bought the balloons and confetti gets an A for effort, this guy gets an A+ and a scholarship to an Ivy League university. He went to the trouble of creating what looks like a parking ticket, so the driver got a little heart attack when he first saw it.

Going the extra mile

Then, when that driver actually picked up and looked at the ticket, he found out it was really a beautifully written soliloquy about their poor parking skills. If Shakespeare were alive today, he’d be applauding.

The not-so-express checkout

When you’re going to the supermarket, and hit upon an extremely crowded parking lot, it’s especially important to park in a way that doesn’t prevent other drivers from getting their cars in as well. Why?

The not-so-express checkout

Well, it’s nice to be important, but it’s more important to be nice. But the second, and more pressing reason, is that if you don’t, you might just come back to find your car has been completely surrounded by shopping carts. You might be getting back in somehow – but you’re not getting the car out!

Come out with your keys up

At first glance, this photo seems to show a parking lot filled with people’s bad decisions. Once you realize what you’re seeing, however, it’s really only one bad decision – surrounded by some very good ones.

Come out with your keys up

When this driver decided they were simply out of cares to give, they parked like they owned the lot. And so, everyone who came later decided to give them an honor guard, and circled their own vehicles around theirs. They’ll be safe in the knowledge their car’s secure, as they walk all the way home.

Trashing their car

You’ve probably heard the phrase “to trash someone’s property,” but this is probably the first time it was ever used quite so literally. You see, this driver couldn’t find parking but also couldn’t be bothered to keep looking, so he just parked in front of three small garbage bins.

Trashing their car

However, that blocked everyone else’s access to said dumpsters. And so, the people of this area likely figured, “Hey, if you won’t let us get to the garbage bins, then we guess your car’s the new bin.”

Hey, where’d my bike go?’

It turns out that not only actual automobiles can be parked horrendously, but bicycles as well! This one’s a two-parter, so allow us to walk you through it. In the top image, we have a bicycle taking up an entire parking spot for absolutely no reason whatsoever.

Hey, where’d my bike go?’

The bottom image is a little zoomed in, so we’ll explain. Someone else has parked an actual car in the space where the bike used to be. So where did it go, you might be wondering? In the bushes behind the parking bay.

Mother nature – 1, bad driver – 0

Up until now, we’ve had photos of human beings taking revenge on others who parked really badly. But why not have one of Mother Nature wanting to get in on the action? Call it karma, fate or anything else, but three trees upended and collapsed in this photo.

Mother nature – 1, bad driver – 0

The two cars legally parked within the lines were fine, with the trees falling between them. And the black car illegally parked at the bottom of the image? Well… It wasn’t so lucky.

The potato clan

Can we just pause for a moment to say how impressed we are with the person who made these? They actually went to the trouble of carving all four members of the potato clan, and we’re applauding their effort.

The potato clan

While we hope the bad driver won’t ever find out just what the produce army really is, we can’t help but wonder. Do you think the person has a lot of copies of carved potatoes just for these situation, or do they carve them on a case by case basis?

Like a movie star

When life gives you lemons, the best thing to do is to make a nice, tall pitcher of lemonade. Take this pedestrian, for instance, who finds their way blocked by the car on the daily.

Like a movie star

They could’ve gotten mad, and slashed his tires or something, but they decided to make a negative into a positive. So they slide across the car’s hood like they’re Tom Cruise in a Mission Impossible movie. We almost wish a car blocked our way like that just so we could do it too!

Monster truck madness

The special snowflake who owns the white car decided parking perpendicular to the sidewalk just wasn’t their thing, so they parked parallel to it. After all, they have a totally rad tail fin! The person who owns that monster truck, however, begged to differ.

Monster truck madness

And they seemed to have expressed those differences of opinion by driving over the white truck’s hood so they could park like everyone else. While the point was made loud and clear, and the lesson likely learned, we hope they have a good lawyer.

A sticky situation

We’ve already seen a car whose driver was terrible at parking get covered in plastic wrap. The person who decided to exact some revenge this time, however, knew he could one-up them.

A sticky situation

Not only did he cover the offending car with plastic wrap, but he also completely covered a nearby dumpster with the stuff, and then stuck the two together! It could not be more perfect, and we’re already laughing imagining the look on the owner’s face when they came back to discover their car now had a conjoined twin.

Some off the cuff revenge

In the 1960s, the U.S. Navy adopted a design principle that could best be described with acronym KISS – “keep it simple, stupid.” What it means, in essence, is that simplest is often also best. And the person getting some payback on this driver definitely seems to believe that.

Some off the cuff revenge

There was no dog and pony show, no outlandish revenge. Just a zip tie fastened to the car door’s handle – as simple as it is elegant. And the driver won’t be going anywhere unless they have a bolt cutter.

Poetic justice

Anyone who has ever gotten a parking ticket – and let’s be honest, that’s probably all of us – is feeling positively giddy right about now. What we have here is a car belonging to some parking enforcement authority, which was parked illegally… and got a parking ticket!

Poetic justice

It simply does not get any better than that. When ever you feel down in the dumps, when you feel like there’s no justice in the world, remind yourself of the parking enforcer who got a parking ticket.

Congratulations are in order

Listen, any schmoe can handwrite a note and stick it on the windshield, or egg a car, or surround it with shopping carts. This? This takes some gumption. The person who left this note took a photo of the car parked way, way too far from the curb.

Congratulations are in order

They then ran home, made the note in the bottom image, and then ran right back to put it on the car’s windshield. Considering they managed to do all that while the car was still there, they’re either unemployed or rabidly against bad parking.

Just trash

A picture says more than a thousand words. Well, apparently so does forty trash bins surrounding a badly parked car, at least according to whoever did this.

You’re trash

Perhaps the person who found this car at first wanted to write an angry note to leave on the windshield. But then they quickly realized a much better lesson for this parking offender would be the hard work of moving a bunch of pretty disgusting trash bins, before they could get in their car and leave (and probably never return to this spot ever again).

Hello from the other side

This is a great kind of revenge. The silver car noticed that the yellow car owner decided that their vehicle must have been worthy of two spots. They decided to make the point of parking next to them, highlighting how they had parked across more than one spot.

Hello from the other side

That’s only the beginning. The yellow-car owner will probably have to jump into their car from the passenger side and shimy their way across to the wheel before they can get going. That’s a job well done if you ask us.

Meme-shamed

Someone decided to take the time to create this fabulous meme drawing. If you haven’t heard of Grumpy Cat, it’s basically a cat that’s, well, grumpy – and kinda hilarious. It seems as though one person wanted to make their point without coming across too angrily.

Meme-shamed

However, the threat on the letter probably isn’t idle, and it’s worrying enough to make most people think twice. Who wants to risk their car getting towed? Either way, we can’t get over how awesome the Grumpy Cat picture is. They’re a wasted talent.

Stickman sass

We’re so used to using memes or emojis these days that sometimes words just aren’t enough to convey a message. It’s almost like learning a new language all over again. This person just needed the driver to visualize the tone of their words.

Stickman sass

All it took was a stick person drinking coffee – as you do. By keeping the tone conversational, it’s somewhat effective in highlighting just how unreasonable it is that this guy is parking in someone else’s spot. It’s time to head back to your own space!

Caught in a trap

It’s a little tough to identify just what this car has done wrong. Perhaps it’s on a bridge when it’s not meant to be? Maybe it’s blocking someone in? Either way, it’s clearly upset someone in the process.

Caught in a trap

While it’s a pretty harsh way to deface a car, we’re quite impressed they managed to transport and lift a rock. When the car owner returns, they’re going to be in for a surprise, especially looking at how badly that rock has scratched the paintwork. Ouch.

Pointing it out

You know, we’re starting to notice a theme between chalk and lousy parking. Where do these people get it from? Not that we’re disappointed. It’s one of the least destructive ways to call out bad parking, which is what someone is doing here.

Pointing it out

Maybe we’re looking at it all wrong, and this was actually written by the owner so that everybody knows that this car is special? We’re not sure how that’s justification for parking outside the lines, but we can’t understand everyone.

Stuck in the middle

Well, if you’re going to make parking harder for everyone else, then there are going to be some consequences. With this kind of parking system, once one car is out of the lines, it makes it so hard for everyone else to fit correctly.

Stuck in the middle

It’s a domino effect that can waste valuable parking space. A couple of car owners decided to take it upon themselves to show this car exactly why parking outside the lines is such an issue. If you can’t park, then you probably shouldn’t be driving.

And the winner is

It comes to something when your parking has caused such a stir in the neighborhood that you win an award. Someone must be pretty fed up and just wants to live in a world where people can park.

And the winner is

It looks like it’s been stuck there for a while – one month to be precise. That can be one of the most irritating things: when someone puts their car where they shouldn’t and leaves it there for the rest of the world to see.

The Post-It of shame

Many people find it frustrating how some abled people occupy disabled parking spaces without a permit. Here, a large group of people has come to publicly shame a person who parked where they shouldn’t and stopping other people from taking it up.

The Post-It of shame

By covering the car in a load of sticky notes, the driver has no choice but to remain there for a while and remove them from their windows. That, or they drive fast enough that they leave a sticky note trail in their wake.

Sticking it to them

Getting angry at parking doesn’t always happen overnight. Sometimes, it takes years of built up rage before it all comes out. Someone had enough of this driver – and made their point loud and clear. It’s going to be pretty inconvenient trying to get these bright colored, super-obvious stickers off.

Sticking it to them

Imagine having to drive around town looking like this? Well, it might teach them to think about parking alongside everyone else next time. It must have taken quite a while to place all those stickers.

Double the trouble

Imagine being that much of a problem and having more than one person leave you a note? This person not only has two furious notes, but it also has a parking fine attached to it. With all eyes on this car, we’re betting there’s going to be a walk of shame to the driver’s seat.

Double the trouble

Hopefully, it’s not an employee at the business it’s blocking, because that would be pretty awkward – especially if everyone found out. Moral of the story? Don’t block anyone in; they don’t like it.

A menacing promise

While we’re pretty sure this guy isn’t promising a proper “paddlin,” it’s both hilarious and menacing reference. If you’ve seen the TV comedy The Simpsons, then the chances are you will recognize this character to be Jasper Beardsley.

A menacing promise

He basically uses this as an old fashioned punishment. It’s such a basic drawing, but the resemblance is so uncanny. It’s safe to say that we’re pretty impressed. Although, we’d be feeling a little freaked out and a little bit watched, we sure wouldn’t want the paddle.

You’re blocked

Someone has taken the opportunity to inconvenience the person who is blocking in two spaces – and they take their role seriously. It’s an excellent method because they’re parked in the spot next to them, and are well within the confines of the lines.

You’re blocked

The same can’t be said for the driver on the left, who is going to realize that they have upset the car park population. Now, they have taken action. They’re going to have no choice but to crawl in from the passenger side if they want to leave.

That’s a wrap

Do people dash to the store for plastic wrap when they see a car they don’t like or do they have some just in case? It seems to be a theme with disgruntled drivers, even if this car does look as if they’re parked within the lines.

That’s a wrap

Maybe it was someone who noticed they weren’t driving considerately? Even so, we’re kind of curious to find out what would happen if they reversed backward. Who would win: the wrap or the car? That’s a story for another day.

Taking it to the extreme

You know, it’s one thing to park over two spaces when we’re talking car-sized spots, but to take up two coach-sized areas is just a big no-no. We’re not too sure why they thought it would be an okay thing to do – especially when it’s not a car park.

Taking it to the extreme

Maybe they thought the spaces were just really generous? Well, there is some justice in the world. This vehicle learned with the perfect example of why cars don’t park in coach-sized spots and why they really don’t park across two.

Follow the pattern

While there may not be any lines here, it seems pretty clear by the other cars’ examples that everyone faces the same way by default. Sadly, sometimes, people just aren’t observant or want to break the rules. The results?

Follow the pattern

They pulled up the totally wrong way. Since there were then two fewer spaces in the parking lot, these cars decided they weren’t going to let this driver get away with it. Was this a coordinated revenge plan or a happy coincidence?

A little practice

This is certainly another approach to people who haven’t parked within the designated lines. Sometimes people need to practice because practice makes perfect, right? Well, this person decided to help the driver out, giving them something simple to practice.

A little practice

Sure, it’s a little sarcastic, but it can be super frustrating to see someone who never learned how to abide by the rules of the parking lot. When this person parks next time, they should be thinking of the happy practice tortoise.

Not your spot

It seems someone wasn’t patient enough to find a spot for their car. That or they were all gone and they didn’t want to wait. Instead, they decided they were going to take up the spaces labeled for motorcycles.

Not your spot

Given that the parking is two-tier, they’re now blocked in because of this bike parking up behind them. Of course, between the two, the motorcycle is actually meant to be there, when the car ought to have waited for space somewhere else. We wonder who left first?

Take my card

It looks like someone has become so fed up with inadequate parking that they have even made their own business cards to hand out to others. We’re not too sure we would ever go to such lengths, but it’s kind of hilarious that someone has.

Take my card

After all, they’re never going to have to worry about whether or not they have a pen or paper; they have a business card. It’s a little on the in your face side, but it’s a surefire way of showing someone they’re not parking correctly.

We hope that’s peanut

We hope this is peanut butter and not something else. Just look at how neatly that’s been smeared on. Someone has taken some time and care into getting this right and even brought on a double whammy.

We hope that’s peanut

Apparently, it was the less expensive way that getting the vehicle towed for parking illegally. They’ve even left a note behind detailing why they’re upset. We can’t quite make out what it says, but we’re sure they’re not happy. We hope the driver has wipes, or they won’t be going anywhere.
