Students who deserve an A+ for demonstrating creativity in the funniest ways

Students who deserve an A+ for demonstrating creativity in the funniest ways

Being a student can be tough. You’re expected to sit in a classroom all day long, listening to teachers and learning lessons, not all of which are super interesting. Some students are great at this – they absorb everything the teacher tells them, they do all their homework, and they ace their exams. But other students need a different outlet. For the following students, that outlet was making life as difficult – and hilarious – for everyone around.

A correct answer

This probably isn’t the answer that the teacher was looking for when the question showed up on the math test.

A correct answer

And judging from the eraser marks, the student did try to come up with a more accepted answer. But math tests can be tough, and in the end, the student gave up and used some quick and very clever thinking to answer the question hilariously. We laughed, and we’re sure the teacher must have smiled, at least for a second.

It’s a zoo in there

Sometimes, hard-working students can feel trapped inside a classroom, like animals in a cage.

And when you look through this caged window at the students hard at work inside, it does kind of look like that’s the case here. So someone thought it would be funny to put a sign on the door pointing it out. It’s true, engineers do spend a lot of time working, drinking energy drinks, and eating cold pizza, and look, there’s even one sitting on a desk!

These are axes

Here’s another student who gave a very creative answer to a math problem.

The directions told the students to label the “axes,” which can either mean more than one “axis” in a graph, or more than one “ax.” We’re not sure if the student truly didn’t know how to answer the question or if they just felt like being funny, but either way, the result is pure genius. And they did draw some very nice axes.

Molecular dress code

Someone spotted this clever drawing on a whiteboard in science class. On the left is the structural formula, or the scientific diagram, of a formaldehyde molecule.

A witty student must have been bored in class, and realized that “formaldehyde” starts with the word “formal,” and then imagined that the diagram looks like the body of a person. So, this class clown used their imagination and drew a “casual-dehyde” next to it, complete with a Hawaiian shirt. Extra points for this ingenious scholar!

Connect the dots

This is a new way to get the teacher to write “100” on your test! We don’t know if it counts, but it sure was an excellent try.

This student made a simple “connect the dots” puzzle on the top of their exam. The teacher played along and, lo and behold, the dots connected to form a 100. No matter how well the student did on the test, we’re impressed that they tricked their teach in such a funny way!

Senior picture

Senior pictures are an opportunity to show off your best side. Many students take these photos seriously, paying a lot of money for a professional photographer, hair stylist, and makeup artist.

But other students use the chance to show off their sense of humor and entertain their classmates. This student did just that, making a shirt with his dog’s face on it for himself, and a shirt with his face on it for his dog. It’s not your traditional senior picture, but it is bound to get attention!

Anxious exit

When opportunity knocks, a punny student will take the opportunity and go for it. Usually, if someone says that a person is alarmed, it means that they are frightened or disturbed.

But when the sign here says that the door is alarmed, it means that a buzzer will go off if the door is opened. This student saw the double meaning right away, personifying the door, and creating this hilarious sign. We love the drawing too – the door does look anxious!

Making faces

Someone at this school printed out a bunch of papers with a life-size smushed face on them, and went around sticking them behind windows.

It looks pretty realistic, and creepy, and if we suddenly turned a corner and saw one of these faces staring at us, we would probably turn and go back in the other direction. We like the idea though, and that face looks just how we all feel after a long day at school.

A new hit TV series

It’s a college graduation tradition to write messages on the top of your cap. It’s a wide empty space on display for all to see, so why not use it?

This student knows the truth about college tuition: many graduates take out loans to pay for school and are in debt for years to come. So, in a play on words, she changed the popular TV show Game of Thrones, to Game of Loans, a game that nearly all college graduates in America are forced to play. Spot on.

Hide and seek champions

Usually, the point of the game hide and seek, is not to be found.

Hide and seek champions

So when a faculty member called the police on a group of students playing hide and seek, and the police failed to find them, we think they may have missed the point entirely. It sounds like the University Police just lost a game of hide and seek! While we don’t condone disorderly conduct, this actually sounds like a lot of fun.

Or is it?

This student wears his “It’s Tuesday” shirt to school every Wednesday in order to thoroughly confuse the rest of the school.

Or is it?

We know that it can be difficult to keep track of what day it is, so we understand why this might mix up some of the students (and teachers). At least when they find out that it’s actually Wednesday they’ll realize they’re one day closer to the weekend than they thought they were when they first saw the shirt!

Locker check

When teachers do locker checks, they’re usually looking for something that students aren’t allowed to bring to school that they may have hidden in their locker.

Locker check

They usually just find papers and books, though. But no teacher is ever prepared to open a locker and find a scene like this one: a dinosaur tea party, complete with a working chandelier. It’s quite an impressive set-up, and definitely took a great deal of work by one artistic student.

But that IS my real ID!

This student secretly changed his name on school picture day, and nobody noticed.

But that IS my real ID!

Then, the names used on the pictures were printed onto ID cards, and apparently nobody bothered to double check the details while they were being printed. That’s how he ended up with an official school ID that says his name is “Jaffar Fromaladdin.” He’ll get a lot of funny looks when he uses this ID card! It’s pure brilliance, but we do wonder how he decided on this name in particular.

A calculated risk

It’s not usually the best idea to take a risk when answering questions on an exam. But for this student, it seems to have worked out pretty well.

A calculated risk

The instructions told students to provide an example of risk, and by refusing to answer the question, and simply writing “no,” this student did just that, demonstrating risk and fulfilling the instructions exactly. Judging from the checkmark, the teacher gave the answer full marks, leading us to conclude that it was worth the risk.

He fits the bill

Students sure seem to like puns – especially when they break the rules. When a notice tells you to “post no bills,” it is usually referring to flyers.

He fits the bill

But this brazen student took it in another direction, instead posting pictures of people named Bill. They’ve got Bill Cosby, Bill Gates, Bill Murray, and (our personal favorite) Bill Nye the Science Guy. We know that this is not a new trick by any means, but it certainly made us smile. Nicely played.

Picture day

Look carefully: one of the students at this school brought in a pineapple shirt on picture day and proceeded to pass it around to as many young men as were willing, making the yearbook oh so much better.

Picture day

It does look completely and hilariously ridiculous and we wonder if the photographer noticed anything was off. Decades to come, kids will be browsing through their dad’s old yearbooks and will be surprised to see just how cool Dad truly was back in the day.

Dr. Hedgehog

You can’t choose your name, and this professor ended up with a pretty unfortunate one to post on a door sign.

Dr. Hedgehog

If you add just two letters to the end of Dr. Hedgeh’s name, you get the name of a cute, prickly animal. It’s so obvious and so funny that it seems people weren’t able to hold themselves back from changing the name on the door. Dr. Hedgeh should probably just get used to it because it doesn’t seem like it is going to stop any time soon.

Congratulations graduate

This student graduated from an online college, but he still wanted a graduation photo.

Congratulations graduate

So he went out and bought himself a cap and gown, and when his diploma arrived in the mail, he asked the mailman to pose with him as he gave him his certificate. The mailman kindly agreed, and he ended up with this endearing and comical photo. Do you think there’s a chance his parents will frame it and hang it on the wall in their living room?

Cheeto chat

When students are bored in class, they’ll do anything to try to entertain themselves.

Cheeto chat

So when these students found a hole in the floor of their classroom and noticed that they could see down to the students below, they wanted to communicate. They used what they had on hand, namely a long piece of yarn and Cheetos, and lowered their offering through the hole to the young woman sitting below. This is wonderfully absurd – we wonder what happened when she finally noticed!

Honesty is key

This student got an extra credit point for answering a question truthfully, although perhaps not exactly the way the teacher had intended.

Honesty is key

We don’t know what the “program in question 5” is, but from the sound of it, it’s complicated. So instead of struggling to answer the question and explaining the program, the student went ahead and answered the extra credit question in their own way. Then the teacher, proving that not all teachers are out to make their students cry, went along with it.

Senior prank

There’s a tradition among high school students that at the end of their senior year they play one final prank on the faculty, staff, and other students at their high school.

Senior prank

So the administration should not have been too surprised to walk in one day to find something not quite right. Some of the students had broken into the office and covered every surface with sticky notes. They did a really thorough job, covering the desk, the window, the bookshelf, and even the printer.

Clever plot

Graphing calculators can be very useful tools, not just for math class but also for keeping students entertained at all times.

Clever plot

We’ve all written out messages on our TI-84, and even spent some quality time playing games and shooting down spaceships. But this student took it a step further and plotted out a perfect portrait of their professor. We didn’t know graphing calculators could do that! We also see a potential future career path for this talented student.

Wide awake

When you’re a busy student, class can be an invaluable time to catch up on some much needed rest, but it can be pretty embarrassing when your teacher catches you napping.

Wide awake

So one clever student came up with a great idea. He made a mask to put over his eyelids that looks just like open eyes. This way, he can sleep as much as he wants in class and his teacher will never notice. We just hope he doesn’t miss any important information.

Who wants pancakes?

High school ends after four years, but the yearbook lasts forever.

Who wants pancakes?

For this very reason, many high school seniors spend days agonizing over what quote they should choose to go under their picture, representing them for all eternity. Mason Goodman chose something very original and very useful for his senior quote – a pancake recipe. In the future, when his former classmates are flipping through their yearbook, they’ll come to his picture and be able to make a delicious breakfast.

Danger

By the time young adults head off to college, you might think that they would have grown up.

Danger

This picture, however, proves that this is clearly not the case. College students tend to find every opportunity possible to play games and goof off. Some students in this dormitory scattered the furniture through the hallway and hung a sign reading, “The ground is lava.” It looks like a lot of fun to try to get to the other side without touching the ground. Do you think you could make it?

Lost sock

When students go off to college, they suddenly find themselves living in a dorm with many other young adults.

Lost sock

Belongings and items of clothing get mixed up, lost, and then found again, and it can be quite a challenge to keep track of what’s yours. One student found a sock in their dorm that didn’t belong to them, and so came up with a solution to find its owner. They hung this hilarious sign, mimicking a lost pet sign, and then just waited for someone to claim the missing sock.

Double notes

Sometimes, students are allowed to bring notes to help them out during an exam.

Double notes

When this is the case, teachers will often limit the number of pages allowed for notes, so students have to think carefully about what they need to know. One clever student, however, came up with a way around this rule. They wrote on the same page in two different colors, and brought along colored pieces of plastic, so they could bring double the amount of notes. We hope it helped!

Mariachi band

This prank brought one school a whole hour of musical entertainment.

Mariachi band

In 2014, a bunch of seniors at Santa Barbara High School in southern California hired a mariachi band to follow their principal around for an hour. The four-piece band trailed him from the moment he walked into his office in the morning, getting funny looks and smiles in the hallways and classrooms. He didn’t seem to be too upset about it, and the spectacle definitely made the day better for many students.

It’s a foul

Planting trees is usually seen as a kind deed because it helps the environment and makes the space where the tree was planted more beautiful.

It’s a foul

But when you plant a tree in the middle of a baseball field, it would be an understatement to say that the tree is in the way. Some pranksters decided to do just that at their high school, and planted a young tree right between the pitching mound and home plate. We’re calling foul.

Papercut finder

These antibacterial gels are great for fighting germs and staying sanitary, and as some silly students pointed out, they’re also great for finding all of the cuts and scratches that you might have on your hands.

Papercut finder

This handwritten label says it all – this stuff stings when you accidentally rub it all over your dry hands and papercuts. Even if you weren’t aware that you had any small wounds on your hands, you’ll surely know about every single one after you use this.

Eye catching resume

There are some classes you can take to help prepare you for finding a job once you graduate from school.

Eye catching resume

In these classes, you often have to write a sample cover letter and resume to practice. This student had to do just that – they were supposed to write a cover letter and resume embodying a Marvel character. We think they did a truly excellent job illustrating everyone’s favorite talking tree, Groot from Guardians of the Galaxy, and would give this student an A+.

Chainmail

Many students think long and hard about what to wear on picture day.

Chainmail

They want to be dressed in their very best when the photographer snaps their photo, because it will be seen by everyone in the yearbook. This student went for a truly unique and original look in this day and age – chainmail. He pulled on his chainmail hood and gave his winning smile, and ended up with a truly memorable photograph. At least he doesn’t have to worry about anyone wearing the same outfit!

Postage stamp

Years ago, when it cost just 20 cents to mail a letter, one student was assigned an art project.

Postage stamp

He carefully drew a postage stamp, pasted it to a letter, and mailed the letter to himself. Surprisingly, the letter was delivered, and the student received an A. This story not only reveals an ingenious student’s prank, but it also shows that the post office doesn’t check the stamps on letters very conscientiously. Would that same thing work today? We don’t know and wouldn’t try it with any important mail.

Toilet paper

College is expensive, everyone knows that. And when you pay so very much money to attend an elite university, you expect to get some benefits.

Toilet paper

Apparently, one student at this school thought so too. With the huge sum of money they were paying for tuition, they expected to at least get some better toilet paper. In addition to a degree, the student was calling for two-ply toilet paper as well. They do make a good point – one-ply toilet paper is the worst. We’re with you, mystery bathroom student.

Teacher fort

Some students in this class decided it would be funny to collect a bunch of plastic bottles and build their teacher a little cage around their desk.

Teacher fort

We’re not sure why the students thought to do such a thing, but the teacher loved the structure. It’s like a special fort just for the teacher, separating them from the rest of the class. We would like to hire these students to build us one of these around our desk!

Nap time

Why even come to class if you are literally just going to lie down on the floor and take a nap?

Nap time

We’re guessing attendance counts in this lecture, so coming to class just to sleep is better than not showing up at all. It doesn’t look particularly comfortable or restful, but we understand that it can be hard to get enough sleep in college and this might be the best opportunity there is to finally get some rest. We just hope the professor doesn’t notice.

LOL

Here is yet another very clever senior prank.

LOL

After looking at the sign above the entrance to their high school for four years, some seniors realized that their school’s name contained an “L,” an “O,” and an “L,” although not beside each other. So they removed the rest of the letters, changing the name of their school to LOL School, a very fitting name for a place for this generation of youngsters to get an education.

High school sports

If children are the future, then these children are the future ESPN sportscasters.

High school sports

These ambitious youngsters set up their very own ESPN SportsCenter gamecast right from their high school gymnasium to announce their school’s basketball game. They went all out with suits and ties, headsets, and the ESPN sign, and they look pretty professional to us. It’s a great idea and is sure to make them very popular with the other students, in addition to being great practice for the future.

Is there a Jar Jar here?

Somehow, one student managed to have their name registered with Portland Community College as The Great Jar Jar Binks.

Is there a Jar Jar here?

Clearly, nobody checked the names and addresses before this letter was mailed out, because it got past the office staff and into the mailbox. If that letter really is on its way to Jar Jar Binks, however, it has quite a long way to go, since according to Star Wars Episode I, Jar Jar Binks lives on the planet Naboo.

Well done

No matter how low the likelihood of a grizzly bear attack on this college campus is, it’s always good to celebrate your victories, and going so long without a grizzly bear attack is definitely a positive thing.

Well done

For anyone who’s keeping track, 34,310 days is actually 94 years, so we can pretty safely say that there likely hasn’t ever been a grizzly bear attack on campus since the college was founded. Still, we’re not denying that it is an impressive number.

Short story

A teacher asked their class to write short stories, and one of the students handed in this gem.

Short story

When you’re in school, you often have writing tasks that can be pretty challenging, and short stories are tough because you’re expected to tell an entire tale in just a few words. While all of their classmates were working hard, this student came up with clever way around the prompt. The story may be based on an earlier work by a different author, but it’s a pretty solid piece of writing.

Sean is the best

The editor of a college newspaper has a lot of power. As long as there’s nobody looking over their shoulder, they can print whatever they want in the paper.

Sean is the best

This student, Sean, was in this position at his school, and he used his power to hide things in the newspaper. Here’s an example of one of his proudest moments – he got this choice sentence past all of the checks and it wound up in the hands of many students. You are the best, Sean.

The big day

Graduating from college is a big accomplishment, and every student wants the opportunity to don a cap and gown and walk proudly across the stage to receive their diploma, making their parents proud.

The big day

That’s exactly what this guy wanted, even though he did not actually graduate. Instead, he bought a cap and gown for $38, showed up at the graduation ceremony for a school he did not attend, and walked with the rest of the graduates. Anything to make his mom proud!

Math tests are hard

A calculus professor came to his office one morning to find this posted on his door.

Math tests are hard

One of his students was clearly dismayed by the last math test they had taken, and wanted a way to express their frustration. The student makes a good point, too. Sometimes, math tests have these problems with so many seemingly unrelated facts and you have no idea how to use them to find the answer to the question. We’ve never seen one quite this crazy, though.

Parking spots

Here’s another great senior prank. The senior class at this high school painted parking spots in their school’s parking lot.

Parking spots

This clever young woman painted a parking spot to read, “If you’re reading this I’m late.” She makes a good point – if someone can read the words on the pavement, it means that there is no car there, and so the person who was supposed to be parked there is clearly tardy. It’s a very well done painting, too.

No trolls

When you go to college, you meet all sorts of different people from all different backgrounds.

No trolls

At this college, there was a student who walked around all the time with a staff. When he was asked why he did this, he answered, “Seen any trolls around here lately? Didn’t think so.” This guy is claiming that his actions rid the campus of trolls. Now, we don’t think there is much of a serious danger when it comes to trolls on campus, but we’re no experts.

High price to pay

We’ve mentioned before how expensive college is, and how hard it can be to pay for an education.

High price to pay

This young jokester decided to poke fun at herself, painting her graduation cap to highlight the high cost of college. She made three boxes to check, and filled in two of them: “45k” and “a leg.” Since she has only one leg, she is joking around that she paid for college with the other one. We sure hope colleges aren’t accepting body parts as part of tuition these days!

Family bathroom

Graffiti is fairly common in university bathrooms, but it often consists of insults and nonsense.

Family bathroom

This time, however, someone with a good sense of humor took a marker to the family bathroom at their school. They wrote “Place sacrifice here,” on the changing table in the restroom, and drew two lines indicating the size of a baby. It’s a funny and harmless joke, and it’s bound to make more than one stressed-out parent smile as they change their child’s diaper.

Rick-rolled

Rick-rolling is a prank that people play on each other in which they make people unwittingly click on a link that takes them to the music video of Rick Astley’s famous song, Never Gonna Give You Up.

Rick-rolled

A sixth grader took rick-rolling to the next level with this funny note. Their teacher caught them passing notes, snatched the paper, and opened it up to see what was going on. And so, the teacher was rick-rolled by their student, right in the middle of the classroom.

Dinosaurs in the parking lot

One day, a student failed a test and was pretty bummed out about it. He went up to his teacher and told them that he was going to have a dinosaur crush the teacher’s car because they had given him a poor grade.

Dinosaurs in the parking lot

The teacher didn’t think too much of it and just continued on with their business. The next day, however, the teacher found this on their windshield. The teacher thought it was pretty funny, but it wasn’t enough to fix the student’s grade.

Mary had a little lamb

Year after year, thousands of students petition for there to be some sort of bring-your-dog-to-school day, but unfortunately, no such a staple day of the year has been formalized.

Mary had a little lamb

However, this student here has taken matters into her own hands by breaking the rules secretly bringing her dog in anyw…oh wait, hang on, that’s a sheep. Since when was it normal for us to keep pet sheep? What’s more, is it normal for us to bring them along with us wherever we go?

Behind-the-scenes

Memes and gifs are a staple part of internet culture now. In fact, it wouldn’t be the same without them. Somehow they manage to sum up our deepest inner feelings by just a few words or a picture – so it makes you wonder – where are the geniuses that make these gifs?

Behind-the-scenes

Well, according to this picture here, they’re among us – this guy is an example of someone who makes the hilarious visual means of our online conversations. We thank you!

Insulting or hilarious?

Isn’t it funny how we all have different interests and passions? We all have a favorite subject at school too. Some of us love to learn about history, some of us like to read literature, and some of us strangely love math.

Insulting or hilarious?

While we all have a favorite subject, that means we all have a certain career we’d love to get into – accountancy, engineering, medicine, etc. So for some reason, getting an arts degree is considered inferior – so much so that someone made this hilarious joke on a public toilet wall…

Hopeless romantic

We all know the butterfly feelings when we first start texting someone, right? It’s exciting whenever you see their name pop up on your phone – but what if they don’t even text you back? Well, that’s the total opposite kind of feeling. We’ve all been there!

Hopeless romantic

There’s nothing wrong with rejection – all you need to do is brush yourself off and pick yourself up again. We’re all hopeless romantics at heart, so don’t feel like you’re unworthy if someone doesn’t text you back – their loss.

Too cool for school

The very best students are those who manage to out-smart their teachers, and that’s exactly what’s happened here at this school.

Too cool for school

After the department of engineering decided to install a TV display in their reception, it wasn’t long before the students out-smarted the teachers by taking over the screen with some hilarious images – especially this one which seems to be a photoshopped image of Queen B and the one and only king of memes, Nicolas Cage. Brilliant.

Balloon war

Prank wars are a fundamental part of college dorm life – the people you meet are some of those you could be friends with for the rest of your life – so a lot of fun is inevitable.

Balloon war

However, that means the fun might sometimes be at your own expense, like this guy here who has come home to a room full of balloons with his important flash drive hidden in just one of them. With his critical thesis deadline coming up, we can only imagine how quickly he would have popped them all.

No to worry!

When you reach the final year of college, that’s when the fear comes creeping up on you! In just a few month’s time, you’ll be forced to enter adult life and start your new phase as a graduate, but you might never feel fully ready for this change into the “real world.”

No to worry!

However, this college here knows that “the real world” might not be what you think it is – mostly because there aren’t actually any jobs for you to apply for anyway. So not to worry!

Bathroom art

As we’ve seen already, graffiti art is a common thing in school/college bathrooms. It turns out that some people get mindlessly bored when they’re doing their business… so what better way to pass the time than to draw something funny on the wall for someone else to enjoy?

Bathroom art

It seems this person here has got a talent for not just humor, but for drawing too – his Patrick is wonderfully drawn. However, we have a feeling the caretaker won’t be too pleased to see someone has graffitied on the wall yet again!

Last chance to prank

The last day of school is the one day of the year that teachers dread! When you reach the final day of your final year, students often pull off the best pranks simply because they won’t be back another day to reap the punishment.

Last chance to prank

This prank here is definitely one of the best we’ve ever seen – 10/10 for imagination and 10/10 for execution too. The shocked look on the principal’s face must have been hilarious when he arrived on the site first thing in the morning.

Truth hurts

Graduation day is an exciting time for all – it’s an opportunity for you to celebrate with your fellow students and look forward to beginning the new phase in your life. However, for this graduate here, his graduation day was a somewhat bittersweet moment.

Truth hurts

Why? Well, because it suddenly dawned on him that as well as being awarded a fantastic degree, he’s also been awarded a huge bill to pay off his whopping great big student loan.

Midday munchies

There was always that one student at school who bought along a rucksack full of snacks – chips, candies, you name it, they had it. This guy here has even brought along enough snacks to create what he has named a “snackpack” – genius, right?

Midday munchies

The creativity here is simply marvelous, and if you squint your eyes a little, it looks just like a rucksack anyway! We can imagine he turned a few teachers’ heads while walking down the corridor that day.

Sneaky student

Here’s another student who has managed to use their ingenuity to fashion a bag out of something entirely different. Out of these girls each holding a clutch bag can you spot which one of them is actually holding a flask? It’s not as easy as you think, is it?

Sneaky student

You have to admire her courage . Somehow, she managed to sneak her flask/clutch bag into her prom without any teachers or fellow students noticing a thing. How very sneaky, but also pretty darn smart.

Teacher troubles

Poor teachers – they sure do get a hard time sometimes. If it’s not having to scream and shout at us to get us to listen, then it’s having to confiscate the silly items we all bring in to distract us from actually doing any work.

Teacher troubles

Fidget Spinners are one of these fad items that had teachers screaming and shouting. But thankfully, there’s at least one student who appreciates how challenging it is for teachers, so much so they had a t-shirt made as a way of showing their respect.

Digital lessons

FaceTime is an intimate way for us to keep in contact with our friends and family, and now thanks to this girl here, it’s also a great way for us to not miss a thing in class! After being forced to stay at home that day, this girl still managed to attend – but via technology instead!

Digital lessons

We have to give props to the teacher who allowed this to happen as it’s almost like she’s in the room. The girl clearly has a lot of dedication to her classwork too.

Garbage day

Do you ever have those frustrating days where you don’t know what to wear? Well, this guy here has come up with a solution – just wear a garbage bag instead! You may not be the most fashionable person in the room, nor will you be kept very warm on a cold day either.

Garbage day

However, you will be the resourceful person in the room – so if you ever have a day when all of your best clothes are in the wash, then you now know what to do!

Anyone for breakfast?

9 am lectures are the most dreaded part of any student’s week. You drag yourself out of bed, feeling grumpy and tired, only to fall asleep halfway through anyway. Why even bother? But fear not – this student here has come up with a way to keep you awake – make some breakfast while you’re at it.

Anyone for breakfast?

Who doesn’t want to wake up in the morning to bacon and eggs? He could even bring along some extra ingredients and get himself a little early morning business up and running too!

Creative comic cartoon class

It’s far too easy for us to procrastinate when we’re in class or during the periods in which we’re meant to be hard at work studying. However, when you’re procrastinating with something productive and creative, why does it matter?

Creative comic cartoon class

This is exactly the case for these students here who have spent their free hour creating a cracking video game storyboard that even teachers should be impressed by! Who needs good grades when you have an imagination this amazing?

Sarcastic student

Teachers must come across some hilarious answers while marking their endless stacks of exam papers, so one part of them must be a little bit thankful when a random funny answer suddenly pulls them out of their boring autopilot marking mode.

Sarcastic student

We can imagine this paper here would have done just that – although the student didn’t have the right answer, you almost want to give him a mark just for being so brilliantly sarcastic. Touche!

Minion mayhem

No one likes doing presentations – they’re the one thing that most students dread and the day that everyone tries their best to get out of. However, the key to getting through them with ease is to make them so ridiculously stupid that no one actually cares what you’re talking about.

Minion mayhem

So why not just dress up as a minion? You can’t get nervous in front of an audience when you’re zipped up in a big yellow costume. 0/10 for sophistication. 10/10 for hilarity.

Fromage fuel

Bringing snacks to class is essential. What happens when your stomach rumbles loudly for everyone to hear? And who knows when you’re going to run out of intellectual energy? When you do come across this situation, pull out your snacks, and eat away.

Fromage fuel

However, perhaps think twice about what kind of snack it is that you’re bringing – they say that sweet, sugary fruit is the best midday snack for energy, but this guy here says it’s cheese.

Causing a ruckus

School and college can be pretty boring sometimes, which is why most students often find themselves looking for new and fun things to get up to. Of course, we have a feeling that the kid being followed didn’t really appreciate the college band by his side all day, but we bet the band members loved it.

Causing a ruckus

After all, they’re often forgotten about when they make their musical debuts and provide the backing music to sports games, it was time they became the center of attention.

A tale of two parts

College is a strange time for everyone, right? Nobody knows quite where their college career is going to take them, and it’s basically just a few years of limbo. This hilarious student obviously knew that all too well, and just didn’t quite know whether to go with one option or the next.

A tale of two parts

With the way that her grades were going, being a trophy wife wasn’t completely out of the question. Yet, with her looks to contend with, she probably needed to study a little bit harder. It’s a real tale of two parts.

Just looking around

If you have ever been to a college lecture, you’ll know that they are perhaps the worst part of college. They’re super boring, they’re confusing, and they’re full of people who don’t have a clue what’s going on.

Just looking around

Because of this, we don’t really blame this guy for looking up high-paying jobs for college dropouts. After all, if you’re gonna drop out, you’ve got to make sure that it’s after a particularly boring and confusing Human Psychology lecture. We’re sure there’s some way you could analyze that behavior.

Making a statement

There are two kinds of people in this world. There are those who class themselves as wallflowers, and there are those who love to be the center of attention. We may be wrong here, but we have a feeling that this giraffe is definitely part of the latter category.

Making a statement

After all, you can’t miss him and his neck! While some people didn’t put a huge amount of effort into their character day costume, this guy really stuck his neck out and came up with something completely original.

Stacking that paper

Most college students dream of stacking some serious paper when they graduate from college and obtain a big hotshot career. This young lady obviously tried to get a little ahead of the game, but didn’t quite get the memo about what that really means.

Stacking that paper

Of course, she could have just been tired and decided to take a nap in class. From the looks of it, her fellow classmates decided to play “Human Buckaroo” while she was catching her twenty winks.

Just the once

Decorating your graduation cap is becoming a tradition among college students across the globe, and there’s normally an informal competition as to who can get the most creative. Well, we think we may have found one that should definitely be in the top ten.

Just the once

Anyone who has been to college will know that it’s not something you ever want to do again, so emblazoning the iconic words of Captain Jack Sparrow just seemed like the right thing to do for this student. We don’t blame them.

The ultimate hero

Making your way through high school or college is all about who you get to experience this with, and it seems as though those who get to sit beside this guy are in for a real treat.

The ultimate hero

Instead of just allowing his classmates to suffer from hungry stomachs during class, he decided to cook them waffles instead. He brought in the batter, he heated up the waffle maker, and he handed them out like he was just doing his job. Can we be best friends with this guy, please?

I apologize

If you’re the kind of person that gets distracted easily, you can probably understand where this kid is coming from. After all, they could get on with his math homework, but where’s the fun in that? Instead of completing the sums and working out what the numbers really mean, they decided to draw a walrus instead.

I apologize

Said walrus had made its own little home on the page, and there was absolutely nothing that the teacher could do about it. At least they apologized for the inconvenience.

A good neighbor

Living in college dorms can be a struggle if you’re not the kind of person that likes human interaction. This situation quite literally forces you to interact with other people, but that doesn’t mean that you always have to abide by the rules.

A good neighbor

When the person inside this room had a bad day and didn’t want to deal with the rest of the world, they got a little creative and drew this picture instead. You’ve just gotta get Grumpy Cat involved, haven’t you?

On a budget

One of the biggest downfalls of college life is that it’s super expensive, but it seems as though some students have used their creativity and their budget-minded brains to their advantage.

On a budget

Instead of making their way to the store to buy their own bottled water, they have simply utilized their skateboard and the iconic red cups you always get in college. By doing this, they can head off to class and come back to a full tank of water. Now that’s pretty nifty.

Living on in infamy

College is a lot of hard work, so why wouldn’t you want people to remember you? If you don’t want to just fade into the abyss after putting blood, sweat, and tears into your college career, then you need to do something like the class of 2017.

Living on in infamy

They wanted to make sure that the next lot of students couldn’t just get rid of them, so they opted for some classy business cards scattered around campus instead. We kinda love this idea.

Straight outta college

Have you ever attended a graduation ceremony? Even if you haven’t, you’ll know that your cap is one of the most important accessories of the day.

Straight outta college

It’s the thing that you throw into the air when you graduate, it’s the thing that transforms you into a graduate, and it’s the thing that you can customize to your heart’s content. We absolutely love this cap design, because this person really is straight outta college. Witness the strength of college knowledge, y’all.

I am Groot

One of the things that every prospective adult has to do is write a resume, but those who have done this will know that it’s not the best thing in the world. It’s time-consuming, and it can often feel weird writing about yourself in such a way.

I am Groot

Thankfully, this college seems to have mastered it. Instead of writing in their own language, they decided to adopt a new language to make them feel a little more comfortable about their bragging situation.

Checking the time

Technology has come on leaps and bounds over the years, and there’s no doubt about the fact that it has helped us in so many ways. Of course, while we will never condone cheating, you can’t help but appreciate the thought that’s gone into this form of cheating.

Checking the time

While the teacher probably just thought that this student was checking the time and seeing how much they had left, they were actually looking at the textbook photos they took earlier on in the day…

Years later…

If you’re currently at college and wondering what you can do to make your graduation cap even better, then you might want to take a leaf out of Spongebob’s book.

Years later…

This person couldn’t believe that it had taken them so long to get to their graduation ceremony, and it had felt like they had been studying for thousands of years. So, instead of writing a cute and adorable quote on their cap, they decided to keep it real instead. We have to appreciate the artwork, too.

Taking a nap

Being an adult is tiring, people. We’re exhausted just a few hours into the day, and not even a whole vat of coffee can wake us up. College kids are no different, but it seems as though some of them have got pretty creative with their nap schedules over the years.

Taking a nap

While they are still signed as present and correct on the roll call, they then simply whip out their pillow and grab a few Zs instead of listening to their teacher. That does look super comfortable, and we’re pretty jealous.

You survived!

Sometimes teachers and students work together to make college more bearable, and it seems as though these psychology professors did just that. They knew how hard their students had been working just to survive every college day, so they decided to gift their students with a few bouncy balls.

You survived!

Although it may seem as though college students are too old for bouncy balls, we’re here to tell you that nobody is too old for these balls of fun. They’re completely ageless.

Leaving a mark

Many students choose to add something to the college campus when they graduate. They do this so that they can leave their mark, and they do this so that their legacy will be remembered. It’s a great idea, right?

Leaving a mark

Well, we have a feeling that most schools probably get a little worried about the weeks running up to graduation, because stuff like this can happen. Luckily this isn’t the real deal, but we have to appreciate the authenticity of the color.

Taking notes

The world is full of strict professors who like to make sure that their kids are taking notes in all of their classes. Of course, the beauty of a laptop is that the people in front of you can’t see what you’re typing – so this kid was able to get away with his plan.

Taking notes

Those sitting behind him knew exactly what was going on, and they had to commend the guy. There’s no better way to spend your time than making a cons list.

Oooh, the diploma

We love seeing everyone with their unique graduation caps, and this just has to be one of them. While we can assume that most graduates wouldn’t say that they had a friend in their college, they would probably say that they imagined a diploma hanging over their heads every time they thought about skipping class.

Oooh, the diploma

The time and effort that went into this cap is extraordinary, and we’re not even mad if they had to skip class to make it.
